When he was young, Jacob Kalama joined a circus in Kenya, learning the twists and tricks of a traveling performer. Twenty years later, he leads the Kenyan Safari Acrobats, a troupe featuring contortionists, magicians, balancing acts, strongmen, fire dancing and more. Throughout, his wife Karen tells tales of Kenyan warriors and teaches basic Swahili.
