October 17: Blake Shelton at Wells Fargo Center

Even for those who don’t listen to much coming out of Nashville these days, chances are you’ve at least seen country superstar Blake Shelton staring back from the cover of a glossy tabloid in the supermarket line. After all, the 34-year-old Oklahoman has the key ingredient which celebrity gossip is made from in the form of his engagement to fellow CMT star Miranda Lambert. Shelton isn’t half the songwriter his wife is, but his no-bull charisma and archetypal Southern drawl have skyrocketed seven of his hits to the top of the country charts; “All About Tonight,” the party-anthem title track from his latest album, seems written purely to inspire country girls to toss off their Stetsons and whip their hair around in tipsy abandon. Catch the “Six-Pack” tour when Shelton brings his band to town on Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Wells Fargo Center. 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa. 8pm. $20-$45. 707.546.3600.
