Over the last year, North Bay artists have created works in response to the fires, and this month, several of them display their fire-influenced artworks in ‘Art Responds: The Wine Country Fires,’ an exhibit and series of public gatherings devoted to the anniversary. Several participating artists lost everything, while others bear witness to the community’s recovery in a diverse array of art.
