Apparently, this Yale graduate can equally master both political science and positively seductive jazz. Lauded for her artful dabbling in traditional folk and East African sounds, the Ethiopian-born Meklit Hadero can sit pretty with a Billie Holiday–esque flower in her hair, open her mouth and melt the crowd.
