The winner of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for U.S. Documentary, Alive Inside is an inspiring and revelatory look at those working in the healthcare system who eschew the normal bureaucracy and help their patients through music therapy. The film focuses on Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit organization Music & Memory, and follows those who have benefitted from music’s healing power.
