Old-time music masters gather again for the fifth annual California Banjo Extravaganza. This year’s headliners include Danny Barnes, Joe Newberry and Bill Evans. Barnes has played with the likes of Robert Earl Keen and won last year’s Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo & Bluegrass. Newberry is a frequent guest on A Prairie Home Companion, and Evans is the author of Banjo for Dummies.
