Sell the Heart Records aims to keep the indie-rock spirit alive and kicking in the North Bay. Inspired by labels of yore like Dischord Records and founded by a group of musicians, Sell the Heart’s goal is to “put out records by artists that work hard and create great art.” This weekend, the independent record label celebrates its mission with a music festival featuring nine bands, including the drone metal orchestrations of Cold Blue Mountain and the Gypsy burlesque punk of Brothers Horse (pasties not included).
