Northern California’s Eel River is an most important resources for the region’s fishing, logging, wine and cannabis industries, which have all contributed to its diminishing power through overuse. This month, filmmaker Shane Anderson screens his award-winning new documentary ‘A River’s Last Chance,’ which chronicles the Eel’s challenges and explains its importance in the West Coast’s environmental and economic future.
