Young love is impossible to dictate. ‘Happy Family,’ the second movie in the Marin Italian Film Festival series, is a meta-rich film bringing a scriptwriter, Ezio, into the depths of his own story when two brazenly different families are reluctantly brought together through the stubborn love of two 16-year-olds. As the script carries on through its production stages, the members of each family bug Ezio to write them in for a bigger part.
