He’s best known as a Monkee, yet songwriter Mike Nesmith’s reputation as a prolific and influential musician and actor shows only the tip of his career. He’s been an author, film producer, director and visionary who helped launch MTV. Still, his music endures, and now the 71-year-old is on the road again. This week he rolls into the North Bay as part of his “Movies of the Mind” tour.
