Though it doesn’t look a day over 39, Marin’s literature-selling institution Book Passage is officially 40 years old, and celebrates the anniversary with a day of events this Saturday. First up, students from around the county will be reading their works in a showcase of tomorrow’s writers. Then, the bookstore’s cafe and gallery holds a reception for artist Tom Killion’s new collection of graphic woodcut prints. Finally, Isabel Allende and others speak about the history of the bookstore and what it means to them and the community.
