The blues are strong in Sonoma County—just take a look at the lineup of stars gracing the stage at the Sonoma County Blues & Arts Festival. At the top of the bill is Blues Hall of Fame harmonica player and Healdsburg resident Charlie Musselwhite, with Santa Rosa High School alum Doyle Bramhall II, returning to to rock out. Local mainstays the Blues Defenders, Levi Lloyd and Volker Strifler are among others slated to play. In addition to the tunes, North Bay artist Kathleen McCallum juries a fine-art exhibit, new to the festival this year.
