The Marin organization TeamWorks is dedicated to keeping arts accessible to kids, and the Marin Arts Council is dedicated to helping them out by opening their doors to a swinging benefit in downtown San Rafael called Falling Into the Arts. Just steps away from the former glory of New George’s nightclub, the always-incredible Volker Strifler Band shakes the ceiling tiles at the Marin Arts Council gallery; Lau Paiva, Brian Byrnes and Kurt Huget also perform at the three-hour event. Collaborative works and art pieces by at-risk teens in TeamWorks will be on display, and catering by Bogie’s Café and An Affair to Remember gives you plenty to chew.
