Created by French-born artist Michel Michelis, the storied live circus group Cirque de Bohème is inspired by early 20th-century French circus traditions and imbued with a modern sensibility. Each holiday season, the troupe takes the stage in Sonoma to dazzle with vintage acts crafted around original productions, and this year’s theme makes timely use of the idea of “Freedom” with a cast of colorful characters whose whimsical style echoes the original Bohemians while reflecting relevant messages. “Freedom” runs through Dec. 17, opening on Friday, Nov. 24, at Cornerstone Sonoma, 23570 Arnold Drive, Sonoma.
