The vast landscape of the West inspires Portland, Ore., songwriter Matthew Zeltzer to craft lush acoustic rock. Currently working on his debut album under the moniker the American West, the songwriter plays his impassioned Americana for the North Bay this week with fellow Portlander and songstress Maita.
