Stand Up
Why are not every single Democrat in the Senate and the House rising up as one body and demanding at the top of their lungs that ICE and HHS be defunded, now and forever?
The idea of a “Homeland Security” agency came out of the twisted minds of George W. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. The same warmongering lowlifes that sponsored the torture program at Abu Ghraib and other CIA prisons. What else did we expect coming out of this agency, once Trump got his filthy, bloody hands on it?
And we’re counseled by some in the mass media that the people must rise up in dissent and demand justice. And they leave out that that’ll likely get you killed in the doing, by ICE and the other psychopathic goons in Trump’s death squads.
If the Democrats in the Senate, and the House, “moderate” and progressive, as the people’s representatives won’t stand up as a whole, who will? Those are the only seats of real power in this democracy, and if they don’t act nothing will change in the murdering in cold blood of immigrants in eventually every state in the union.
And no publication will ever run this open letter.
