The upcoming film ‘The Space Between Us,’ a sci-fi romantic drama, envisions a really long-distance relationship between a teenage boy born on Mars and a girl living on Earth. Set for theatrical release mid-December, the film gets an advance screening this week, hosted by San Rafael–based nonprofit Roots for Peace and the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center. This showing was recently made free to all and includes a post-screening discussion with the film’s producer and co-writer Richard B.
