The restaurant offers two seatings, both far from cheap. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., you can enjoy food and live music for a mere $175. From 8:30 to 10 p.m., savor six courses (each paired with an alcoholic beverage) for $275. 4330 Barnes Road, Santa Rosa. 527-7687.
Mistral
The restaurant offers two alternatives. For diners with places to go, there's "The Early Show," a four-course dinner running from 5:30 to 9 p.m., for a cost of $35. For diners who want to ring in the new millennium at Mistral, there's "The Late Show," beginning at 10 p.m. and featuring a tasting flight of sparkling wines, a dessert buffet, and dinner jazz, and priced $49. 1229 N. Papa's Taverna
