Seasoned Talent

MUSIC MAKING IS A TENUOUS business. Once you move beyond the hat on the sidewalk, the chasm between artistic poverty and somehow making it gapes very wide indeed. The newly formed Sonoma County Music Association aims to bridge that gap with traditional networking and promoting opportunities for non-traditional workers. The organization's holiday concert on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. is a cheerful peek at what's possible in the music world of Sonoma County, from country western to classical, including performances by the irrepressible Jim "Mr. Music" Corbet (shown above), Buzzy Martin, Michael Bolivar, and Kathleen Tannehill.
