The two pool tables are also exactly where they should be: smack in the middle of things. And the wagon wheel adorned with liquor bottles is most correctly in place--behind the bar with the sassy British barmaid. While Petaluma's own Twin Oaks Tavern may not be the best spot to fall to pieces, it's a pretty good place to lose at pool, talk farming, look at old photos of the county kept carefully in someone's wallet, or methodically peel the label off a Bud. And best of all, even though everyone ringed around the counter seems to know everyone else, they don't mind if they don't know you.
