Youth Zine Writing Workshop Series March 7 – April 25th, Sundays 3:30-5:00 pm PST
April 18 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
The Youth Zine Writing Workshop Series, hosted by Metamorph Mentorship, is designed for youth ages 10-18 as an opportunity for them to reflect on their personal experiences in the pandemic and feel empowered to creatively share their stories. Each class will have example zines for the youth to look at and discuss, creative prompts about the different elements of zines, and time for writing and creating. The series will take the youth all the way through the editing and publishing process. The course will culminate in the youth publishing of a collaborative zine anthology (a collection of creative work from multiple authors). Each youth will get a color printed and bound copy of the zine we create!
